Our mission is to use sustainable agriculture to transform the lives of young people
and increase access to healthy food in Garfield County.

GROWING FOOD

At Highwater Farm we practice sustainable agriculture to grow diversified vegetables on 3.5 acres. Our produce is available to the public through our CSA membership from June-October.

EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION

We provide today’s young leaders with paid opportunities to grow food, learn new skills, and make an impact in their community.

We have positions for new and returning Crew Workers ages 14-17. The youth in our program are directed by our Youth Program Coordinator and our dynamic farm team.

FUELING THE COMMUNITY

We route 20% of our produce to hunger relief efforts in Garfield County. Our food access efforts include serving local WIC and SNAP customers through our CSA membership, CSA sponsorships for in-need families, and through the Lift-Up farm to food pantry program.

We host volunteer days throughout the season and invite the community to join us for any of our public events!

Highwater Farm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relies on generous donations from the community.
