CREW WORKER POSITION DETAILS

Structure & Tasks:

  • June 16 - August 1 (7 weeks)

  • Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3pm

  • Plant, maintain, and grow a variety of vegetable crops

  • Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows

  • Package, distribute, and sell produce

  • Participate in team activities and educational workshops

  • Participate in community events

Requirements:

  • Age 14-17

  • Able to commit to the entire 7-week session

  • Willing to work hard and challenge yourself

Work Expectations:

  • Show up to work on time, every day

  • Commit to attending every day of the program

  • Be respectful, prepared, and bring a positive attitude

  • Work hard and participate in all program activities 

  • Communicate openly and honestly with staff and peers

Compensation:

  • Job training & education

  • Stipend of up to $3,000 

  • Fresh produce on designated days

Youth Crew Workers have the support of the Youth Program Coordinator at all times. Youth Crew Workers are held to high standards and are committed to self-improvement. Consider applying if you want new skills, are interested in working outdoors, want to make an impact in the community, are interested in agriculture, or simply want work experience and pay.

Summer Youth Program

Highwater Farm provides paid positions for young people interested in working on the farm in the summer.
Youth Crew Workers participate in our farming operation while learning valuable job and life skills.
