As Colorado Natives, this family has been growing in their greenhouses for over 25 years. They specialize in growing annuals, perennials, vegetable and herb starts. Field to Fork is a USDA certified organic and dynamic hybrid market farm. They operate 20,000 square feet of greenhouses and a large market garden that consists of permanent no/low till garden bed systems. Mountain Valley Greenhouse is part of Mountain Valley Developmental Services, which supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing employment opportunities. As a commercial greenhouse they sell plants and flowers to retail and business customers. The greenhouse is open for business Monday-Friday and some Saturdays. Ken & Gail’s established their community farm in the early 1990's. As the first CSA farm on the western slope, and second CSA in the state, they emphasize traditions of seasonal foods, biodynamic methods, and a slow farm, personal approach to agriculture. Thomas and Gwen Cameron are a father-daughter farming team growing 35 acres of organic peaches, cherries, apricots, nectarines, plums, and pluots in Palisade, on the western slope of Colorado. They believe that the best fruit is grown from well-tended soil and is harvested by workers with a deep connection with the land.
